Mark J. Eppli is the Director of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Eppli has three decades of academic and administrative leadership experience, including a three-year term as Interim Keyes Dean of Business Administration at Marquette University. Prior to joining Marquette University, he was a professor at The George Washington University. Dr. Eppli is widely published and coauthored of two books published by the Urban Land Institute, including the fourth edition of Real Estate Development, the best selling development text in the world. Dr. Eppli serves on numerous boards and advisory boards including for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, the Real Estate Research Institute, and The Mandel Group.

Dr. Eppli has been recognized by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Urban Land Institute, and the Greater Washington Urban League for his efforts to attract minorities to the commercial real estate industry.

Dr. Eppli earned his PhD, MS, and BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
