Ryan Bain

Vice Chairman

Ryan Bain is a Vice Chairman with CBRE’s Institutional Properties team. Located in Chicago, IL, he has more than 20 years of industrial sales and leasing experience within the commercial real estate profession. Ryan specializes in representing institutional, private, and corporate clients in the acquisition, disposition and sourcing the equity capital stack in industrial real estate transactions. Over the past 6 years, Ryan has raised capital in excess of $6 billion for Joint Venture, New Development and New Platform initiatives. He is skilled in property / investment valuation, transaction management, site analysis, and strategic real estate planning. Ryan began his career with CBRE in 2002 and has been involved in more than 575 transactions, valued at over $20 billion and totaling over 275 MSF.

Ryan is also a member of CBRE National Partners, twenty industry leaders acting as one within a partnership model. They deliver superior information, analytics and strategy, leading to exceptional execution over the industrial investment property life cycle and across the capital stack. In 2021, the team successfully completed 410 transactions totaling 274 million square feet with an aggregate value of $31.9 billion.

Sean Devaney

Senior Managing Director, Capital Markets

Sean is a Senior Managing Director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. His responsibilities include asset disposition, recapitalization, and debt / equity sourcing for institutional corporate and private capital clients on all industrial asset types. Sean is involved in sourcing opportunities, direct marketing, structuring and oversight of all underwriting / pre-marketing due diligence.

Sean has worked on both the ownership and advisory side of commercial real estate. Prior to joining JLL, Sean worked on the Investment team at First Industrial Realty Trust focusing on acquisitions and dispositions throughout the central region of the United States. Sean has also worked at Bank of America in the OREO department as an Asset Manager, where he was responsible for the management and disposition of bank owned distressed real estate assets. He began his career at First Midwest Bank as a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate Group.

Steve Disse

Principal & Vice Chair

Steve Disse has been with Colliers International for 29 years and serve as a principal of the Chicago office. He focuses on investment sales of institutional quality industrial and office properties in Chicago and the Midwest ranging in value from $5 million to $300 million. He teams with Jeff Devine to form Chicago’s most active industrial investment sales team. Their team consistently holds a 50 to 60 percent market share of Chicago area industrial investment sales and has closed over $1.5 billion in sales over the last 24 months. This past year, they received the 2019 NAIOP Industrial Investment Transaction of the Year Award for brokering the sale of the Fountain Square Commerce Center in Bolingbrook, IL.

Adam Tyler

Adam Tyler is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Advisory Group specializing in industrial investment sales throughout the Midwest. During his 21-year career, he has worked on both the ownership and brokerage sides of the business and has completed transactions in investment sales, development, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. These transactions have exceeded 200 million square feet with a value in excess of $14.5 billion.

Based in Chicago and responsible for executing transactions across ten Midwest markets, Mr. Tyler’s broad transactional experience allows for best-in-class service to industrial clients.

Laura Hyde

Managing Director, Investments - Central Region
Link Logistics

Laura is Link’s managing director, Investments, overseeing acquisitions for the Central Region.

Laura has been with Link since 2019, joining the firm through its integration with Talos Capital, where she began working in 2017. At Link, she has completed acquisitions of more than 300 buildings totaling over 42 million square feet valued at more than $4 billion. Prior to Talos, Laura was a senior financial analyst with Pritzker Realty Group, where she worked on over $127 million of industrial acquisitions and ground-up developments representing 2.1 million square feet. Before Pritzker, she was an associate at Oak Street Real Estate Capital and a private equity analyst at Morgan Creek Capital Management.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Cornell University. She is a member of Industrial Women in Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute and serves as the 2024 Goldie Gala Vice Chair.
